Michiel Martijn

I met Ardy a couple a years ago for work in his gym. Doing some of his publicity for his gym in my newspaper we soon started of chatting about our great passion for angling. Me living in the same city close by from his home we stayed in contact about all of our fishing trips and experiences and became close friends. In this period I met his close friend Frank Warwick as well and this tuned out to be a great combination. Knowing that the Dutch Basterd as we call him likes to party, we had some great beach parties the last couple off years and still going each summer.

Three years ago I booked the mighty Rainbowlake for three weeks in may 2007 and made Ardy happy by asking him to join me. Off we were and for a long way down to the South of France. Fishing a very difficult swim ( 21 ) we managed to have a great trip with fish up to 59 lbs. To describe Ardy in a one sentence is easy for me: A good friend with his hart in the right place!
